Soumitra holds a Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives from IIT(ISM), Dhanbad and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia. His PhD research area is ‘Human Computer Interface’, under the guidance of Prof. Aurobinda Routray, Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Dr. Rajlakshmi Guha, Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, IIT Kharagpur.
