Debayoni earned her B.A. in Psychology and Masters in Applied Psychology from the University of Calcutta. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, IIT Kharagpur under the joint supervision of Prof. Atasi Mohanty and Prof. Susmita Mukhopadhyay. She started her journey in Rekhi Centre in the autumn session of 2021.

She has worked in the area of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and her Master’s thesis focused on the interplay of role efficacy, personality factors, conflict management, and team dynamics. She is more inclined towards areas of Positive Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Social Psychology. She is primarily interested in studying the human side of the future of work and applying different insights from positive psychology to create positive work environments by enhancing employee well-being and satisfaction.
