She completed her Graduation in Psychology from Calcutta University and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Calcutta University. After Masters she received M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Central Institute of Psychiatry. In 2017 she qualified UGC Net examination and taught as faculty at The Neotia University, as visiting faculty at West Bengal State University and several government colleges. She is a trained clinical psychologist and has clinical expertise and training in handling individuals with psychological disorders. Currently she is research scholar at IIT Kharagpur under the guidance of Prof. Rajlakshmi Guha and Prof. Sangeeta Das Bhattacharya.
